Member’s Roles & Responsibilities
Masters Of Good is not a service, but an active networking group focused on collaboration and community. Becoming a member comes with the responsibilities listed below:
Show up to the meetings: held once a month, the Community Call is an opportunity to meet other members, introduce yourself and share news. Each call features a member who has been invited to do a presentation with the objective to share interesting learnings with the rest of the group. We believe that assiduity is a virtue, a quality, and an act of courtesy and we expect our members to make it a priority to attend these calls;
Be available for others: members commit to answer introductions and other requests made within the network in a timely manner;
Set up your account and be active on the members’ platform: members must have a complete profile with a picture, bio and links to their business online presence. We encourage members to use this tool to post questions, thoughts, articles, and resources. Being an active part of Masters Of Good means taking time to check what’s happening on the platform and engage with posts created by other members;
Share information: members understand that they aren’t just here to take, but also to give back to the group by sharing resources, learnings and connections that can be helpful to other members.
Accountability: members are responsible for the connections and benefits they get out of their experience as part of this group.
Member’s Values & Code Of Conduct
Masters Of Good is a safe space for members to share their entrepreneurial journey in full honesty, and to find community. Below are some of the values and behaviors that our members embody:
Kindness: We expect all our members to listen without judgment and show empathy. Sharing advice is great if solicited.
Confidentiality: All information shared within our group is considered confidential, unless stated differently by the sharer.
Punctuality & Self-awareness: when meeting on zoom, or in real life, we show up on time, we let each other speak without interruption, and we do our best to not monopolize the conversation, but rather leave enough time for everyone to speak.
Positive Energy & Openness to learning: we believe no one is ‘too cool for school’ and members are open to listen to other opinions and experiences. There’s always something to learn and should you have feedback regarding a meeting, we expect members to share it separately with our team.
Solicitation: Masters Of Good is a space to connect and collaborate, not to sell products or services.
Membership is for a minimum period of one year and renewable thereafter on an annual basis. Membership renewals are not automatic and are reviewed by our Membership Committee on an annual basis. The decision of the Membership Committee is final and without appeal. High non-attendance rate, bad behavior, or a change of direction in the business (that would make the brand less sustainable) are examples of causes for termination or non renewal.
